Assessment

Assessment at COCC is intended to inform planning and decision-making throughout the institution and offers evidence on the quality of learning, teaching and service the college supports and provides.

At COCC, assessment responsibilities are distributed among the various departments and programs with the intent that the same guiding principles are applied:

• Outcomes are articulated
• Indicators are established to support evaluation of outcomes
• Progress is measured with data collected
• Results guide decision making and support continuous improvement
