Clery Act and Crime ReportingClery Reporting

In compliance with federal law, the Central Oregon Community College Campus Public Safety Department prepares an annual report on campus security and fire statistics, programs, and services. This report is prepared with information provided by the Campus Public Safety Department, the Office of the Dean of Students, Environmental Health and Safety, the Title IX Coordinator, Campus Security Authorities, and various law enforcement agencies.

The report includes crime statistics for the previous three calendar years, concerning reported crimes that occurred on Clery geography. This geography includes all property owned or controlled by Central Oregon Community College, and on public or private property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, college property. The report also provides information regarding campus security and safety. For example, crime prevention and security awareness information, and crime reporting procedures. Fire statistics for the previous three calendar years, are also included.

Campus Daily Crime Log

In accordance with the 1998 Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the Central Oregon Community College Campus Public Safety Department provides an accessible Daily Crime Log to the community. The Daily Crime Log is available, in hard-copy format, in the Campus Public Safety Office lobby (located in the Boyle Education Center on the Bend Campus). The Daily Crime Log contains all crimes reported to the Campus Public Safety Department within the last year (previous crime logs are available upon request).
